Working with The Gregory Brothers
July 2016-September 2019 I worked as an assistant video editor and studio manager for The Gregory Brothers, best known for their Autotune/Songify the News Series on youtube.com/schmoyoho. I assisted in all stages of production:
I supported the creation of many different types of videos amassing millions of views, some of which are shown in the reel linked above. More video samples are available in this playlist.
In 2015 I created a web series called Living With Super. I wrote, shot, starred in, and edited two seasons of the series, totalling 30 short videos. The series used first-person, video blog style narration to chronicle the life and adventures of a superhero's roommate named Mina Weller.
Since 2010, I have created and edited over 100 videos on my personal YouTube channel. The channel has amassed more than 1000 subscribers and the videos have been viewed over 85,000 times. The videos are primarily blog style and when the channel was more active it gathered an active community of viewers and commenters.
Thumbnail and Graphics for The Gregory Brothers
I created and edited a wide range of graphics for video effects and thumbnails, a small selection of which are linked above.
Social Graphics for Dino Ultimate Frisbee
I created promotional and informational graphics for social media for my ultimate frisbee team, Dino.
Spring 2016, I created a website exploring the Newtown Creek Nature Walk as the cumulative project for the NYU course Digital Media: Theory and Practice. The website is intended as an art piece that explores the contradictions of the place and showcases the various ways media can be used to tell a story.
Spring 2014, I worked as a content editorial intern for doNYC, where one of my responsibilities was to create social media content. These are the longer-form articles and interviews I wrote for the doNYC blog.
